WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital Achieves Top Safety Rating from The Leapfrog Group
WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital has been awarded an A Hospital Safety Grade for spring 2026 by The Leapfrog Group, a nationally recognized organization that evaluates hospitals on patient safety. This grade reflects the hospital's performance in preventing errors, infections, and other types of patient harm. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a public rating system that assigns grades from A to F, allowing patients and families to compare hospital safety performance. Melissa A. Dubrow, vice president of WellSpan Health and president of WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital, emphasized that the recognition underscores the hospital's commitment to safety and reliability. The hospital's achievement is part of a broader effort to maintain high standards in patient care, as evidenced by the similar rating received by WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
