Daniel Kinahan to be Extradited from UAE to Ireland Amid Major Security Operation
Daniel Kinahan, identified as a leader of the Kinahan cartel, is set to be extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Ireland in the coming days. Kinahan has been in custody since his arrest in Dubai in April, following an extradition request from Irish authorities. The extradition process has been expedited after his appeal in the Dubai courts was unsuccessful. Kinahan is expected to face charges related to directing organized crime, including activities during the Kinahan-Hutch feud. A significant security operation is being coordinated for his return, involving armed Gardaí and military personnel. Kinahan will be transported to the Special Criminal Court in Dublin and subsequently to Portlaoise Prison, where he will be held in a high-security unit.
