D.C. Everest Math Team Achieves 10th Consecutive Division 1 Victory
The D.C. Everest Math Team has secured its 10th consecutive first-place finish in Division 1, marking a decade of dominance in the competition. This year, three students from the team achieved top honors in their respective categories. Grady Pond excelled in geometry, Will VanSlyke in algebra, and Alexander Jelen in advanced mathematics. Notably, Jelen, a junior, achieved a perfect score on all his Math Team exams, continuing his streak of first-place finishes for the fourth year. Other notable performances included Tristan Wolfe, who finished second in geometry, and Owen Gavrila, who placed third in advanced mathematics. The team also includes members Ian Geier, Allison Raddenbach, Jonathan Gates, Croix Krohn, Ellieanna Miller, Macy Rentmeester, Alexis Mosure, and Sofia Kronebusch.
