Georgia's 2026 Primary Elections Feature Extensive Ballot Choices for Voters
The 2026 primary elections in Georgia are set to take place, featuring a wide array of races for statewide and local offices. Voters will encounter a lengthy ballot, with contests for positions such as governor, lieutenant governor, U.S. senator, and various state commissioners. Additionally, all 56 Georgia State Senate districts and 180 State House of Representatives seats are up for election. The primaries also include nonpartisan elections for judicial positions, including Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals judges. Both the Republican and Democratic parties have included non-binding ballot questions to guide their platforms.
