US Coast Guard Intercepts Yacht in Missing Person Case, Continues Investigation
The U.S. Coast Guard has intercepted and boarded the yacht Soulmate in connection with a high-profile missing person case involving Lynette Hooker, who disappeared in the Bahamas last month. The yacht was found 40 nautical miles off the coast of Melbourne, Florida, and was towed to Fort Pierce after its engine lost power. Brian Hooker, Lynette's husband, was not aboard at the time, as he had returned to the U.S. to care for his ill mother. The Coast Guard Investigative Service is leading the investigation, seeking information from potential witnesses and conducting interviews.
