ALAN Launches 2026 Survey to Address Disaster Logistics Gaps
The American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) has initiated its fourth annual Humanitarian Logistics Survey to evaluate the effectiveness of disaster relief logistics. The survey, open until May 31, targets nonprofits, government agencies, logistics providers, and businesses to identify collaboration gaps and improve disaster response. ALAN aims to understand how organizations are working together and address challenges such as limited funding and logistical inefficiencies. Insights from previous surveys have led to the expansion of ALAN's logistics education programs and the launch of 'Logistics Ready' initiatives to enhance disaster preparedness.
