Bus Crash Near Lake George Injures Multiple NYC High School Students and Chaperones
A bus carrying students and chaperones from several Bronx high schools crashed near Lake George, New York, resulting in multiple injuries. The incident occurred on Sunday morning when the tour bus veered off the road and collided with several trees, an outbuilding, a boat, and a vehicle near Lake Shore Drive and Diamond Point Road. According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, the bus was transporting 17 students and six adults. Four passengers and the bus driver sustained minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals. The remaining passengers were assisted by the American Red Cross at the Warren County Sheriff's Office while awaiting further transportation. The exact number of students injured remains unclear, and the incident is currently under investigation.
