Alabama House Candidate Hanu Karlapalem Urges Republicans to Condemn Racist Attack

Fredricks, a former NASA engineer and businessman, made derogatory comments about Karlapalem's Indian heritage on social media, questioning his legitimacy as a member of the NAACP and his eligibility for state office. Karlapalem, a naturalized American citizen and small business owner, has rejected these assertions, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and equal rights. His campaign has urged Republican leaders to publicly disavow Fredricks' comments.
