The Munster Education Foundation has announced a record-breaking distribution of nearly $125,000 in grants for the 2025-2026 school year. These grants are set to benefit all five schools within the Munster district, impacting approximately 18,218 student engagements. The grants cover a wide range of educational initiatives, from commissioning an original musical composition for Munster High School choirs to providing robots for kindergarten classes. Other funded projects include video and audio equipment for business classes, tools for enhancing math and science education, and a mobile planetarium experience. The Foundation's president, Lynn Eplawy, highlighted the community's unique qualities as a driving force behind this investment. The grants aim to enrich the educational experience and foster innovative learning opportunities across the district.
