Marshall Community Credit Union Awards $25,000 in Scholarships to Local Seniors
The Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) has awarded $25,000 in scholarships to ten local high school seniors. Each student received a $2,500 scholarship during the annual meeting held on April 17. The scholarships are intended to support the students' continuing education at accredited colleges, universities, trade, or technical schools. The recipients were chosen from a pool of 29 applicants representing 12 different schools. The selection process involved evaluating the students' reflections on financial lessons, the meaning of service, and their community impact. The chosen students demonstrated leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to their personal and financial futures. This initiative is part of MCCU's ongoing efforts to empower youth and strengthen the communities it serves.
