Californian Mayor Pleads Guilty to Acting as Chinese Spy
Eileen Wang, the mayor of Arcadia, California, has pleaded guilty to acting as an illegal agent for the People's Republic of China. Federal prosecutors revealed that Wang, along with Yaoning 'Mike' Sun, operated a website that published pro-Chinese government content directed by PRC officials. Wang's activities included sharing pre-written material from Chinese officials and failing to disclose her role as a foreign agent.
