United Airlines Flight Incident at Newark Sparks Safety Investigation
A United Airlines flight from Venice, Italy, encountered a significant incident during its final approach to Newark Liberty International Airport. The aircraft, a Boeing 767-400, struck a light pole and a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike. Despite the collision, the plane landed safely, and none of the 221 passengers and 10 crew members were injured.
