TEDx Events: Local, Independent Gatherings for Idea Sharing
TEDx events are independently organized local gatherings designed to share TED-like talks and performances within a community. These events are planned and coordinated by local volunteers and feature a diverse range of idea-focused talks, demonstrations, and performances. Each TEDx event is unique in its content and design but adheres to core TED principles, emphasizing multidisciplinary topics and community-driven, bias-free content. Unlike industry conferences or marketing events, TEDx events are not used to promote commercial products, political agendas, or specific religious beliefs. Organizers and speakers are not paid, and events cannot be used for fundraising, even for charities. The primary goal is to spark conversation, connection, and community by sharing 'ideas worth spreading.'
