Paris Wildlife Hospital Provides Critical Care to Rescued Animals
The Wildlife Veterinary Hospital in Maisons-Alfort, a suburb of Paris, is dedicated to rehabilitating injured, sick, and orphaned animals, often victims of urbanization and human activity. Recently, a fox cub was rescued and is being cared for by volunteers to ensure it can eventually return to the wild. The hospital, which treated over 10,400 animals last year, focuses on minimizing human interaction to prevent imprinting, crucial for the animals' successful reintroduction into their natural habitats. The facility is largely supported by donations and volunteer efforts.
