Piedmont Kennel Club Hosts Major Dog Show in Fletcher, NC with Over 1,000 Entries
The Piedmont Kennel Club held a significant dog show event on May 30, 2026, in Fletcher, North Carolina. The event attracted a total of 1,035 entries, showcasing a wide variety of dog breeds. The Best In Show was awarded to a Gordon Setter named GCHG Tamarack Valley View River Of Dreams, handled by Stacy Threlfall and owned by Dr. E Shanahan and S Threlfall. The Reserve Best In Show went to a Pekingese named GCHG Piedmont I Love Those Lady Lumps, handled by Christian Manelopoulos and owned by B Drewitt Barlow. The event featured several categories judged by different experts, including Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding groups. Each category had its own set of winners, highlighting the diversity and quality of the participating dogs.
