Naperville Offers Free Compost and Opens Paddleboat Quarry on Weekends
The city of Naperville is offering free compost to residents at two locations as part of an initiative to promote sustainable gardening practices. The compost, donated by Midwest Compost, is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with residents encouraged to bring their own containers. Additionally, the Naperville Paddleboat Quarry is opening for weekend operations, providing recreational opportunities for the community. The quarry will offer paddleboats initially, with plans to expand offerings as the season progresses.
