AABIP Establishes Advanced Practice Providers Allied Health Chapter to Enhance Interventional Pulmonology Care
The American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP) has established an Advanced Practice Providers (APP) & Allied Health Chapter. This new chapter aims to support and integrate professionals such as Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists who work within Interventional Pulmonology and Advanced Bronchoscopy practices. The chapter provides its members with continuous access to resources including an APP Tool Kit, an APP Enrichment Series, networking opportunities, resource sharing, mentorship, and professional growth and development opportunities. Members also gain access to the Journal of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (JOBIP). The chapter holds quarterly meetings and organizes various activities, including Journal Clubs and Respiratory Therapist Coalition Meetings, to foster collaboration and education among allied health professionals in the field.
