Protest Erupts as ICE Arrests Man at Brooklyn Hospital
A protest broke out at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn after ICE agents arrested Chidozie Wilson Okeke, a Nigerian man with previous arrests, for overstaying his visa. During the arrest, Okeke allegedly resisted and attempted to use his vehicle against ICE officers. The incident drew a large crowd, leading to a confrontation with the NYPD, who were called to manage the disorderly situation. Eight people were charged with various offenses, and the event sparked significant community backlash against ICE's presence in the area.
