Hunter Weeks Pursues Court Reporting Career After Inspiration from Depp-Heard Trial
Hunter Weeks, a resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, was inspired to pursue a career in court reporting after closely following the 2022 Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. The trial's ability to channel intense emotions and personal histories through the structured court system captivated his interest, leading him to enroll in the NCRA A to Z Intro to Steno Machine Shorthand program. Weeks, an English major, subsequently began a court reporting track at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Mississippi.
