William Shatner and his daughter Melanie have revealed their simultaneous battles with stage 4 cancer. Shatner, known for his role in Star Trek, was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 2023, while Melanie was undergoing treatment for metastatic breast cancer. Both have been cancer-free since late 2024. Shatner underwent surgery and immunotherapy after the cancer spread to his brain and lungs. Melanie faced chemotherapy, radiation, and a double mastectomy. Their shared experience has brought them closer, and they are launching a wellness podcast to help others facing similar challenges.
