Mackenzie Shirilla Discusses Future Family Plans from Prison
Mackenzie Shirilla, currently serving two concurrent life sentences at the Ohio Reformatory for Women, expressed concerns about her future family plans during a phone call with her mother. In the call, Shirilla lamented that she would be too old to have children by the time she is released, if ever. She is eligible for parole in 2037. Shirilla was convicted for the deaths of her then-boyfriend Dominic Russo and his friend Davion Flanagan, after intentionally crashing her car into a building at 100 mph in 2022. The phone call, which was recorded at the Cuyahoga County Jail, reveals Shirilla's distress over her lengthy sentence and her belief that she is being unfairly targeted by the justice system.
