20 Cats Found in Stolen Truck Tracked by AirTag in Tacoma
Pierce County Sheriff's Deputies discovered 20 cats in a stolen truck in Tacoma, tracked down using an AirTag. The vehicle, stolen earlier, was located with a man and woman inside. The woman claimed ownership of the cats, which were found in a makeshift cage. The cats appeared emaciated and some had cloudy eyes, indicating poor health. They were taken to the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County, which is now over capacity with over 190 cats in the shelter and 230 in foster care. The cats were exposed to ringworm, adding to the shelter's challenges.
