Children's Hospital Colorado Raises Over $700,000 at Philanthropy Event
The Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs recently hosted its annual 'Philanthropy on the Farm' event at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur. The event featured farm-to-table meals, dancing, and a Western-themed dress code, attracting a sold-out crowd of supporters. The highlight of the evening was the sharing of stories by former patients, now hospital ambassadors, and their families. The event successfully raised over $700,000 to support the hospital's services for young patients. Over the past six years, the event has generated more than $4.2 million in donations to support the needs of patients, families, and caregivers. The hospital, which opened in 2019, has become a crucial facility for pediatric care in Southern Colorado, with over 159,600 total visits and 40,300 emergency room visits recorded.
