Car Plunges Into Piscataway Pond, No Injuries Reported
A vehicle ended up in a pond in Piscataway, New Jersey, on Tuesday night, prompting a response from multiple first responders. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. at New Market Pond off Lakeview Avenue. Firefighters reported the car was in the middle of the lake with the occupant still inside. Rescue operations, including the use of rescue boats, successfully removed the driver from the vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities are investigating how the vehicle ended up in the water, with a broken fence near the pond being a potential factor.
