Texas and Nevada School Districts Seek New Educational Materials to Enhance Learning
The Katy Independent School District in Texas and the Clark County Schools in Nevada are actively seeking new educational materials to support their growing student populations. Katy ISD, serving 96,000 students, is looking to establish contracts for a wide range of instructional materials across core subjects such as English, math, science, and social studies, as well as special education and bilingual resources. The district aims to secure these materials by May 30, 2026. Meanwhile, Clark County Schools, with 300,000 students, is focused on acquiring new science textbooks for subjects including biology, chemistry, and physics. The district plans to enter seven-year contracts with textbook providers, allowing for price adjustments after four years. The deadline for these proposals is May 28, 2026.
