An anonymous donor has paid over $9 million for a private lunch with NBA star Stephen Curry and renowned investor Warren Buffett. The auction, held on eBay, was part of a fundraising event benefiting the Currys' Eat. Learn. Play Foundation and the GLIDE Foundation, a San Francisco-based homeless charity. The winning bid of $9,000,100 will be split between the two charities, with Buffett matching the amount, resulting in each organization receiving $9 million. The lunch is scheduled to take place in June in Omaha, Nebraska, Buffett's hometown. Steph and Ayesha Curry expressed their gratitude on Instagram, highlighting the potential for significant impact when different generations and institutions collaborate.
