Ankeny Police Successfully Locate Missing Teen Safe
Kathryn 'Katie' Dennis, a 16-year-old from Ankeny, Iowa, who was reported missing on April 19, has been found safe by local police. According to a news release from police spokesperson Sgt. Trevor McGraw, Dennis left her home on Sunday afternoon, prompting a search by authorities. The police announced on April 24 that she had been located and was safe. The case had garnered attention from the community and local media, highlighting the efforts of law enforcement in ensuring the safety of missing individuals.
