Charlie Gray, a prominent figure in Orlando's legal and civic community, has passed away at the age of 94. Gray was a co-founder of the influential GrayRobinson law firm, which he helped establish in 1970. The firm has since expanded to 16 offices across Florida and Washington, D.C. Known for his behind-the-scenes influence, Gray played a significant role in bringing major developments to Central Florida, including Disney World and the University of Central Florida. His contributions were widely recognized by local leaders, with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer describing him as a 'legal giant' and a key figure in shaping the region's civic and political landscape. Gray's career also included serving as Orange County Attorney and chairing the Florida State Turnpike Authority.
