Cocaine Shipment with Erling Haaland's Image Seized at Ecuador Border
Ecuadorian authorities have seized nearly half a ton of cocaine at the border city of Tulcán, with the packages bearing the image of Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland. The drugs were hidden in a modified truck and were discovered during a police operation. The cocaine was distributed in 370 blocks, and the total weight was confirmed to be 469.6 kilograms. The truck driver, a Colombian national, has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking. The use of Haaland's image on the packages is part of a common practice in drug trafficking to differentiate shipments, though there is no connection to the player.
