Memorial Day Ceremonies Honor Fallen Heroes Across the U.S.
Memorial Day ceremonies were held across the United States to honor fallen military heroes. In Mamaroneck, NY, the American Legion Post 90 hosted a ceremony that included a reading of names of local residents lost in wars, a twenty-one gun salute, and poetry readings. Similar events took place nationwide, including a ceremony at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Pennsylvania and a flag-placing event at Arlington National Cemetery. These events serve as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by service members and provide communities an opportunity to pay their respects.
