Medellín Embraces Luxury Wellness Tourism with Wake Medellín Opening
Medellín, Colombia, is set to enhance its tourism appeal with the introduction of Wake Medellín, a new luxury wellness destination. Scheduled to open in June 2026 in the Provenza district, Wake Medellín aims to redefine luxury hospitality by focusing on wellness, sleep optimization, and intentional experiences. The hotel will feature amenities such as yoga spaces, thermal contrast rituals, and contemplative areas designed to improve sleep quality and reduce stress. Selected rooms will incorporate technologies to support circadian wellness through automated lighting systems. The culinary offering at Wake Medellín will include Boro, a restaurant led by Chef Jaime Rodríguez, known for his work at Celele, which will focus on native ingredients and Colombian biodiversity.
