Jared Armstrong Renovates Israeli Basketball Courts for War-Affected Communities
American-Israeli basketball player Jared Armstrong is spearheading a project to renovate basketball courts across Israel, particularly in areas affected by conflict. Through his nonprofit, JAB Courts, Armstrong aims to provide children with a safe space to play and heal from the trauma of war. The initiative has already seen the renovation of 17 courts near the Gaza border, with plans to refurbish 18 more annually. Armstrong's efforts are not limited to Jewish communities; they extend to Arab and Christian communities as well, promoting inclusivity and unity. The courts are designed with thoughtful color schemes and motivational words to foster a positive environment.
