Browns Owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam Donate $12.5M for Cancer Research
Dee and Jimmy Haslam, owners of the Cleveland Browns, have donated $12.5 million to support research and drug development for blood cancers, particularly chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Dee Haslam, who was diagnosed with CLL in 2021, expressed gratitude for her health and aims to advance treatment options through this donation. The funds will support partnerships between research centers in Ohio and England, with $10 million allocated to the Oxford-Harrington Rare Disease Centre and $2.5 million to the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center.
