Marie Fletcher Passes Away at 86, Leaving a Legacy in Hawthorn Woods
Marie E. Fletcher, a long-time resident of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at the age of 86. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Fletcher, and their children Kevin, Ken, Keith, and Kraig Fletcher. Marie also leaves behind her grandchildren, Nicholas Fletcher and Alyssa Venckus, as well as her sister-in-law Lorraine. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. A visitation is scheduled for February 9, 2026, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Zurich, Illinois, followed by a Funeral Mass and interment at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine.
