Ukraine's General Staff Reports on Russian Military Losses Amid Ongoing Conflict
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released an updated report detailing the combat losses suffered by Russian forces since the beginning of the conflict on February 24, 2022. As of February 8, 2026, the report highlights significant Russian losses, including 1,246,330 personnel, 11,651 tanks, and 24,010 armored personnel vehicles. Additionally, the report notes the destruction of 37,044 artillery systems, 1,637 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,295 anti-aircraft warfare systems. The Ukrainian forces have also reportedly downed 435 aircraft and 347 helicopters, while operational-tactical level UAVs losses stand at 127,549. The report further lists 4,269 cruise missiles and 77,439 vehicles and fuel tanks as part of the Russian losses.
