Latino Community Foundation Surpasses $50 Million in Grantmaking to Support Latino Organizations
The Latino Community Foundation (LCF) has announced that its total grantmaking since 2018 has exceeded $50 million. This milestone reflects LCF's commitment to empowering Latino communities by supporting over 550 organizations and providing resources to more than 120 nonprofit leaders. In the first quarter of 2026, LCF launched the Community Protection Fund, its first national fund, aimed at mobilizing resources for grassroots organizations responding to immigration enforcement actions. The fund awarded $250,000 to six organizations across Minnesota, California, and Nevada. Additionally, LCF invested $3 million to advance voter mobilization, support research on immigration enforcement's economic impact, and aid recovery efforts for communities affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
