UFC Event Planned on White House Lawn for America’s 250th Anniversary
A UFC fighting cage is being constructed on the South Lawn of the White House to host a bout celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday. The event, scheduled for June 14, will feature a 5,000-seat arena and large screens broadcasting the fights. The UFC plans to issue up to 85,000 free tickets for spectators. This event is part of a series of celebrations, including an IndyCar race and the Great American State Fair, marking the semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence.
