Lincoln Streets to Close for Gravel Worlds Race and Project O Street Improvements
Portions of three streets in Lincoln, Nebraska, are scheduled for closures due to the Gravel Worlds race and ongoing Project O Street improvements. Havelock Avenue, between 84th and 98th streets, will be closed from Saturday morning to Sunday evening for the Gravel Worlds race. Additionally, 14th Street, between P and Q streets, will close Monday through Thursday for Project O Street improvements, with 13th Street or 17th Street recommended as detours. Westbound O Street, between 11th and 12th streets, will also close starting Monday for Project O Street improvements, and this closure is expected to last until mid-October. The recommended detour for westbound O Street is 12th Street to N Street. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) advises drivers to seek alternate routes and exercise caution, noting that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
