Wokwi ESP32 Simulator Integrates New Wi-Fi Library for Enhanced Connectivity
Wokwi, a simulator for ESP32, STM32, and Arduino microcontrollers, has introduced a new Wi-Fi library for its ESP32 simulation environment. This enhancement allows users to simulate Wi-Fi connectivity for their ESP32 projects, specifically connecting to a simulated Wokwi-GUEST Wi-Fi network without a password. The update is part of a larger system designed for conveyor belt monitoring, which includes reading data from DHT (temperature and humidity) and MPU6050 (accelerometer and gyroscope) sensors. The system processes these sensor readings to determine alert levels (NORMAL, AVERTISSEMENT, CRITIQUE) based on predefined thresholds for temperature, humidity, and vibration. For instance, temperatures above 60.0°C or below 10.0°C trigger a CRITICAL alert, while vibrations exceeding 2.0 m/s² also result in a CRITICAL status. The system then takes actions such as activating an LED and a buzzer based on the highest alert level detected across all sensors.
