ResearchHub, co-founded by Patrick Joyce and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, is a platform designed to reform traditional science grantmaking by promoting open science and collaboration among researchers. The platform utilizes its own cryptocurrency, ResearchCoin, to incentivize scientists for activities often undervalued in conventional funding models, such as publishing negative results and conducting peer reviews.
