New PixelFonts Designed for Enhanced Readability on Small Screens
A new family of condensed fonts, named PixelFonts, has been developed by [mcer12] to optimize text display on low-resolution screens. These fonts are specifically engineered to be slender and condensed, allowing more text to fit on each line of small displays. PixelFonts integrates with existing libraries such as AdafruitGFX and U8g2, enabling developers to use common syntax for display writing. The fonts offer various styles, including regular and 3D shadowed versions, and support a wide range of heights and weights. Additionally, they include support for accented lowercase letters, addressing space constraints inherent in small screen environments. Each font is provided with a BDF file, making modifications and customizations accessible to users.
