International Telecommunication Union Launches Digital@UNGA Awards 2026 to Recognize Global Digital Innovation
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have opened applications for the Digital@UNGA Awards 2026. This global awards program aims to celebrate outstanding digital initiatives, innovative policies, and transformative technologies that drive inclusive and responsible digital transformation worldwide. The awards are open to a wide range of stakeholders, including government institutions, organizations, startups, NGOs, researchers, policymakers, technology companies, entrepreneurs, and young innovators. The program seeks to recognize projects that promote digital inclusion, strengthen digital governance, and empower communities through innovation. The application deadline is August 4, 2026.
