The meeting is scheduled for August 3 and will focus on user privacy and the broader implications of social media on society. This development follows an incident involving Meta, where a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing examination paper leaks was temporarily removed from Facebook due to a technical error. The video was later restored. The panel aims to address issues related to social media's impact on society, particularly in light of recent student protests over examination irregularities. The protests were called off after the government promised to strengthen legal frameworks against paper leaks.
