School Districts Upgrade Networks to Meet Growing Digital Demands
School districts across the United States are undertaking significant network modernization projects to accommodate the increasing demand for digital learning tools. The Santa Maria Joint Union High School District in California, for example, faced daily network issues due to outdated equipment. The district's network was overwhelmed by the number of devices, including student cellphones and instructional tools like the Canvas learning management system. To address these challenges, the district upgraded its network infrastructure, adding new switches and access points to improve connectivity both indoors and outdoors. Similarly, New Trier district sought expert guidance from CDW to implement Cisco Meraki access points and Cisco 9300 switches, ensuring high bandwidth and low latency for their digital learning environments.
