Illinois Regulators Propose First U.S. Gambling Marketing Exclusion Program
Illinois regulators are advancing a proposal for the first gambling marketing exclusion program in the United States. This initiative would allow individuals who have completed the state's voluntary self-exclusion program to opt out of receiving direct gambling advertisements for at least 12 months after their exclusion period concludes.
