President Zelenskyy Urges Silicon Valley to Collaborate on AI and Defense Technologies
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on Silicon Valley's defense startups to collaborate with Ukraine by combining their advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies with Ukraine's battlefield experience. Speaking on CBS News' 'Face the Nation,' Zelenskyy emphasized the potential for a powerful partnership that could significantly impact global defense capabilities. Ukraine has developed a range of drone and anti-drone technologies out of necessity, maintaining its defense against Russia's invasion over the past four years. The country has become a testing ground for new military technologies, with a state-backed 'Test in Ukraine' program attracting international companies to trial drones, AI, and other defense systems. Zelenskyy is urging American tech companies to move beyond discussions and begin concrete collaborations to enhance defense capabilities.
