AT amiGO Jr. Watch 2 Limits Video Calls to Three Minutes to Prevent Overheating
The AT&T amiGO Jr. Watch 2, a device designed for children, supports video calls exclusively through its companion application. Users can only make and receive video calls from contacts designated as guardians within the AT&T amiGO app. A significant operational detail is the implementation of a three-minute time limit for all video calls. This restriction is in place to prevent the device from overheating during prolonged use. Once the three-minute mark is reached, the video call will automatically terminate. The watch allows users to initiate video calls directly from the device's phone application by selecting a contact and then the video call icon. Incoming video calls can be answered or declined via on-screen icons. During an active video call, options such as enabling/disabling the speaker and muting/unmuting the microphone are available.
