After a high of 102°F (39°C) in Phoenix on Monday, a low-pressure system moving inland from California will bring cooler conditions and scattered rain to the region. Moisture from this system, combined with high pressure over Texas, will trigger late-season monsoonal activity, particularly in eastern and southeastern Arizona. Scattered thunderstorms and isolated flash flooding are possible in areas like the White Mountains, Four Corners, and Tucson. By midweek, Phoenix could see increased humidity and rain chances, with highs dropping to the mid-90s°F (35°C).
