Los Angeles Mayoral Race Advances to November Election
The Los Angeles County Registrar has certified the results of the June 2 primary election, confirming that incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilmember Nithya Raman will advance to the November 3 general election. Bass received over 34% of the vote, while Raman secured 29%. The primary election saw over 850,000 voters participate, and the results have been analyzed to show voting patterns across different precincts. Bass's support was strong in South Los Angeles and the Valley, while Raman performed well in Los Feliz and Koreatown. Spencer Pratt, who finished third with 26%, had significant support in the northwest San Fernando Valley.
