NYPD Investigates Mysterious Sewer Activity in Brooklyn
A second video has emerged showing a group of men, referred to as 'sewer spelunkers', climbing out of a manhole in Brooklyn, New York. The footage, captured at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Lynch Street in Williamsburg, depicts the men wearing headlamps and carrying shovels as they exit the sewer. The incident occurred early Friday morning, and the men were seen removing the manhole cover, entering the sewer, and later exiting. A similar event was reported five miles away in Gravesend, where another group of men was seen entering a manhole. The New York Police Department (NYPD) has conducted sweeps of the sewers to ensure safety and is currently investigating the incidents. The purpose of these activities remains unknown, and it is unclear if the two incidents are related.
